Okay, I've heard/seen the Neon and Mustang injector swaps.

Let's just say a co-worker is not smart. At all. And after "blowing up" the 4.7L v8 in his (2003-4?) dodge truck, he tried to fix it.

He cut the ****ing injector wires off the connectors, and chopped the AC lines for Christ's sake.

Now, I have him bringing an injector clip tomorrow for me so I can see if its the 2 prong or not. But what I'm wondering is if it is, will the 4.7 injectors work in a 4.0?

I can get all 8 for $50. And if anything, flip a profit. Like I said, he's an idiot.

Do a search on it. I'd have to say no though. Depending on what year your jeep is there are different injectors that will work but only from a few vehicles in the mid to late 90s. Dodge 4 bangers usually. There are bolt in. And the mustang 5.0s too which require little modification. This is to my knowledge though. I know there are Jeepers on here that know WAAAAY more. Lol. When I swapped mine out I got them from a mid 90s dodge neon. 60 bucks popped old out and popped the new in. Very easy. Make sure to clean everything good!!!

I have a 97. I just replaced the old ones with brand new from O'Reillys bout a month ago. But if I can make these work, why not? They're 4 hole.

You bought brand new OEM injectors? I bet that was nice and expensive.

I'm no expert on injectors. I'm sure there are adapters out there that will allow you to plug those in. As far as if they're physically the right length, if the flow rate will be right for your engine, etc. I have no idea. I'd just look out for a set of Neon 703s in the for sale section if I were you and not bother with those.
