Ideas for exhaust?
I have a 90 Cherokee Laredo with all stock exhaust system. I want a whole new system but I don't know to much about them. I want it with a sound of not being super loud but also not quiet. Can someone please explain to me what I would need?

Ok since you have only one stock cat on that thing, just stick with running a Flowmaster Muffler. You can have a tip added on at the end, and it will sound pretty good and still retain the compression needed for good milage.. However, WELD, no bolt ons. Bolt on exhaust sucks. I strongly recommend having it welded.
I have my exhaust welded and well... NICE!!!!!!

+1 on the welding and flowmaster. my approach angles on alot of runs destroyed my factory exhaust though.. I got lucky and didnt destroy the header but basically everything from the cat back I had to re-do. My Exhaust is set up to dump between the shield on the tank and the wheel well. I will never have to worry about it getting caught up on a departure/arival on another obstical.

LMAO! Yeah.. Um more like a old school jag if youve ever heard one of them opened up... deffinatly not like any ferrari I've heard. The tip is just for a looks effect nothing else really. and Nitsujeep.. I would be careful about posting no cats or that.. Mods will get you. To the OP, really you can go with ANY muffler but I have a flow master and like it. the one thing you will have to consider though is the fact that some cans are huge.. and I mean when I welded up my 40 it hung down lower than I cared and that was with it mounted so high that it was litterly buttoned up against the floor of the tub, so I chopped it out after burning it in and decided on a different route because of that. So instead of bothering with the 40 I decided to run a flowmaster resonator which sounds great under acceleration/deceleration but is fairly quite when at idle or cruising. This is all that I am running on a factory cat .. http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/sh...e=&orig=15150S

well i cant go into full detail about my exhaust (take a guess lol) but ive got a flowmaster super 44 into duals that come out before the rear tire and I loveeee the way it sounds. Sounds like a cummins at cruising speeds and IMO sounds like a supra at rev limiter. Sounds awsome all around
