Default I think I have bent "C"s on my D30HP

Ive been having my jeep pull to the right and still cant figure out why. I pulled into a parking lot today and noticed the driver's side tire is leaning in at the top...

Could this mean bent "C"s? Does anyone know where I can measure to check to see whats what? Im going to post pictures here soon..

What else could cause the tire to lean in, ball joints?

Lets say the D30HP is bent, is there a drop in replacement axle I can get?

First to have a alignment done. To bend a c you really have to be jumping it, been in a accident. Which I doubt you have done either. To get a alignment it will take care of your issues

Drop in replacement would be another d30 or fork up money for a drop in d44

Maybe its me...you p side tie rod end looks fubar. And the coil spring looks like it rubs on the c on pass side but not driver side.

Like I said, maybe its just me. These pics aren't very big on my phone...

from whoops I'd bet you bend the long side tube b4 you bend the C ...It don't take much to bend a d30 housing that's not trussed .

You can fix a bent tube with a bottle jack...level...and chain or strap ...then truss it after you straighten it .

One thing to add is that when I do brake the wheel stays straight. And I did swap the tires around from side to side to make sure it wasnt a belt in the tire that was causing the pulling..

But as far as the bent look.. Not sure whtas up with that still. Someone a few posts up said that the alignment will cure that.. But how? Theres no camber on these, and thats what would fix that. right?

Oh and also, I did check the lng side of the D30's tube and it seemed straight. I checked it with a carpenters square ( all i had at the moment ) and like I said from all of the areas I checked it seems straight.

Are you talking about the spacing on the passenger side coil? I jacked it up and re-centered it a bit. As far as I know the centering is good. How can I check it?

airing it out with that much weight on an untruessed 30 = dumb. measure them, see if theyre bent, they probably are. i bent my Cs pretty bad on my 30 with 33s.

toss the housing, throw your guts into a new one. TRUSS IT.

May be a dumb question but have you checked the ball joints cause if they are worn the tire will lean in at the top.
