None in the rear hatch? Id go with some 3-ways either apline, kenwood, fosgate, kicker, pioneer. U cant really go wrong unless u buy some complete crap no name speakers. Def can get a real good set up less then what u got to spend. Im getting new speakers for xmas i cant wait

i have 2 rockford p1s 12 inch 60 a piece and 80 for box and it rlly hits hard, when i had my 93 sport i had two 10 inch audiobon in ported box and it wld shake ur head. if you go to best buy there are 12inch kickers 2 for 100 bucks then just a cheap box itll be a good system. i once had two type R's i spent 600 on it and it broke my back window had to down grade alot

id go with some alpine type R coax's. about 150 for them i believe. crystal clear highs and mids. but with 5 1/4 or even 6 1/2 speakers you wont ever get any bass out of them. id recommend either getting type R's or getting type E speakers then a bass tube from bazooka. im about to drop 1500 bucks for competition speakers on mine

I run the pioneer premier competition pro series 12 inch. 1500 rms. 3000 max output. With a alpine v12 1600 watt mono amp. Ken wood 600watt amp to the pioneer premier 6x9s. Premier head unit up front too. Monster mobile amp kit with power cap. Makes the headlights dim when it hits and I never crank it all the way up. Feels like my head will explode if i do lol

when it comes to amps you should buy something that does rated and is cea 2006 compliant. in your price range you could probably do a 500rms amp with two 12's each rated at 250 rms. a good choice of amps are soundstream, kicker, orion, clarion, etce, etc. also with the search of google you can find "car audio" forums, that you can find your equipment used and in very good shape for half the price. just my 2c.
