Default I need a measurement

I am trying to wrap my head around something.

I just got my adjustable track bar in the mail today (rustys).

I bought it from an individual. The bar didn't come with the frame mount.

I have the ability and resources to make my own bracket, but I need someone to measure something.

To anyone with an aftermarket frame mount for an adjustable track bar can you tell me how far the bracket drops the eye of the joint from the bottom of the frame. I found on someones website that sales these that there's dropped the bar 3.5" from the bottom of the frame.

I am adding 2 more inches onto my 3.5" lift I have now, so in my cad drawing I only dropped the eye 2".

If someone would please measure their bracket I would much appreciate it!

There is not a set number to properly set it up. Most lift companies guess what track bar angle will compliment the most of the jeeps and steering set ups out there.

Get your rig put together and on it's on weight with the steering bolted up and tires strait forward. Now picture a line from the center of the tie rod joint (ball/pivot point) on the knuckle to the center of the tie rod joint on the pitman arm. When you mount your track bar, the Line from its bolt hole on the axle, to the center of the pivot point on the frame needs to be parallel as close as possible to the steering drag link pivot lines. Build frame mount accordingly.

I can never get a response on threads from this sight, and no one returns PMs except for Serious Offroad.

Sorry man. I was actually walking outside with a measuring tape (at 0800) and remembered that my jeep isn't even here right now. Lead Foot did give good advice but I'm sure just having a ball park measurement sounds easier. I've gotten a lot of good advice from this site so keep the faith.

Just a tip. Whining on ur thread isnt gonna help..
Almost made me not want to help u to be honest.

4.5in rough country lift (sitting at 5.5 with coil spacers and shackle relocators )
Track bar drop mount that came with rc lift has the eye for track bar sittong 6inches below the frame.

Oh and this question could have been answered by calling any company that provides drop mounts and asking them what the drop is. Imo

Not whining, just stating the obvious. I have a few thousand posts with 2 other forums and I have never seen a lack of help/ personal input from other member like I have here.

I do thank you for the measurement!

I called other companies and no one wanted to give me the dimension..

I can't believe I was so unhelpful. I guess that's what I get for trying...
