So I need a couple more yards per gallon and I have heard that a super cool steering wheel cover will do the job. I have a late 96 2dr 4.0 231tc. A bit of lift and its white with a bit of red and some black trim. I was hoping to find a black leather steering wheel cover of decent quality and appearance. Perhaps the kind that fully envelop the wheel part of the steering wheel, and perhaps are sewn on. Can anyone point me in a decent direction? I see some for pretty cheap and I wonder if they are what I want. Thanks!

rumor has it a steering wheel cover adds 20mpg if I were you I’d buy a case of them on Amazon and install a different one weekly to explore the difference in MPG’s.

Great topic! If you take the specs of the cover and apply Bernoulli's Principle, then subtract Ohm's Law, you will certainly get results on a nonexistent level.

funny story. When I was Parts Manager at a Datsun dealership in north cali, the guy who invented those came into our parts dept peddling them.
