How do I measure caster?

On level ground, with an angle finder, I get 8 degrees at the top of the ball joint. I know it isnt really 8 degrees so what is the math to figure out what it really is?

It isnt really 8 tho thats my point. At 5" of lift it it really closer to 3, i just dont know how to measure with an agle finder to get the actual number.

you didnt mention 5" of lift in the 1st post, that changes everything. cant help you, dont know how either ? alignment rack needed i think.

What's your suspension setup? Adjustable or fixed control arms? Short arms? Long arms?
