Default How do I get MORE lift for taller tires?

I have a 3"lift (1" TC drop and adjustable track bar) and am running 31" tires.
I just got some new 35"x12.5 KM2s (dirt cheap, could not pass them up) and I want to install them, what is the cheapest way to do this?

Here where I live (in Hawaii) I mainly use my Cherokee to get to the ocean on lava rock trails, nothing to serious, rocks about the size of bowling *****. I haven't had any clearance issues with the 3" lift

My thought is 2" coil spacers and 1.75" shackles, also new brake lines and drop pitman arm (I don't know what size drop to get), and fender flares (I like the look of the new Bushwaker Flat flares, any body know how much wider these are than stock)?

And last but not least steering box brace, one more question, my shocks are new so is there a way to extend them also, so I don't have yo buy new ones right now.

Thanks for any help!

spacers and shackles are a great idea, you will need many other parts to go with this...

also you might consider cutting your fenders

I still haven't seen a drop pitman arm that didnt mess up angles at that small of a lift. IMHO you shouldn't need it.

The flat flares will open up your wheel wells enough to fit the 35's at about 4.5 inches of lift (should anyway).

As far as your shocks, you can use bar pin eliminators to extend the useful length.

I have a 90 xj and it's got 4.5 inch lift and I had to cut my fenders on front and the body in back to run 32x11.50's I wanted 35's but I can't fit them.

Look up a 4.5" lift kit and see what is in it. Also an adjustable trac bar.

I would say sell them. Make more money than what you paid. Running 35's isn't quite that simple. And by the sounds of it. You don't even need em.
You should lift up to 5.5" net. You'll need drive shaft, SYE, gears, steering, track bar. Rims w proper back spacing.
With that money earned. Pick up some parts your jeep could use. Frame stiffeners or a nice steering setup. That makes way more sense.
If I knew what I do now. I would have done stiffeners first. Huge difference. Long arms would be more useful than those 35's.
Do realize how expensive those 35's are going to be to replace.

If you had to cut that much. I doubt your kit netted 4.5". I got a Rusty's kit which net me 5.25" after settling. I run 33's w very minor trim 4"BS on my rims.
I've seen cats around here w 3" of lift. Retarded amount of trimming w 35's. But there's no room for articulation.

Yeah I may not have got that out of it, I didn't measure it before and after so I don't know. But the kit I got said it was a 4.5 inch. Who knows. I only trimed my rear on the bottom edge bout a inch on both sides.

I took off the factory flares cuz I think they wasn't usefull to me b n my tires still stick out past them n e way. But I didn't gain clearance when I took them off n e way so I cut the sides out and left the top untrimmed. And just cut 2 inches off the back side of the front fenders. Heck I cut enuf to go 33's now and I do have room to go more to. But was wondering what else I had to do besides cutting.

And I was thinking spacers to get turning radius back to

Personally I don't like spacers. Just doesn't settle well with me. But I know it's a option. I'm going up another inch to clear 35's. My approach to it is. JKS ACOS up front. And JKS shackle in the rear. And T&T Customs UBolt Eliminators.
I'll finally be doing long arms in August.

I'm to broke to go w a bigger lift at this moment, got a 300.00 dollar car payment for my dd. I'm trying to sell it tho. And I'd like to go long arm but no one I know has one done so I'm not sure what it takes. I'm still a lil new to this jeep stuff. I came from a k-5 world. Mud trucking lol
