How critical is LCA length?
I bought a used RC lift from a friend that owns a JY, the control arms that came with it look like older beefy RC units and the rear springs are RC 4.5". I assume that they are matched together because they were installed on a vehicle that he wrecked, shocks also match up to a RC 4.5 lift. The kit is older as he parted out the jeep 10-15 years ago and sitting in the corner every since, all the bushings appear real nice, basically no wear.
The issue is I look at the LCA length chart and for a 4.5" lift the LCA length is 16.5" and the arms I have are 16.25 C/C?
Can I use these arms with a 4.5" lift or am I shopping for new ones?

The key with lengths is setting up the caster correctly. You can shim the stock frame side LCA brackets out some and should be able to get that extra 1/4" doing that (assuming the mounts are still in the stock position). If you already have all the parts then I'd just slap them in and see what you get first.

You need to just be shopping for adjustables or long arms. Otherwise your geometry is just never going to be right.

x2 you should prolly shop for adjustables, and they are very handy especially if you eventually go higher, and yes def keep them at the right length for the lift or the geometry will be way off since youll be at 4.5 already
