Default Home brew front bumper

Planning on building a front winch bumper...Anyone ever use the factory tow hook brackets as a tie in to the unibody for a bumper?

why would you go to all the work and still use the stock hooks? yes I have seen it done a couple times but doesnt make sense to me

Well I may not use them, I just need to make new brackets to I can tie into the subframe. I wasnt sure If i could use those or atleast use them as a template.

Just take the stock bracket, trace it onto some steel for the mounting holes, cut it out extra wide and then drill for any extra holes like the steering box ones..

Thats what I did. helps with positioning and marking.
