high pinon dana 30..
OK the shops around me cant get the camber adjusted right on my jeep after i lifted it.. its 4.5 in and they said they could try offset ball joints but prob wouldn't work... so im thinking about swapping in a HP Dana 30. mine is a 2000 so it dosen't have it now. will it go right in? no fabbing anything up? i can get one for 100 bucks, hub to hub complete with steering..worth trying? would like to here your input, thanks Butch

An HP 30 isnt going to help your camber at all. even with an HP 30 you would possibly been to used angle BJ's to get the camber right. something just doesnt sound right here with your ball joints. are you sure they are good, maybe with the lift its showing its true colors of being bad? lifting shouldnt affect camber, i wouldnt think, just caster. Are you sure he didnt mean caster?

I will leave alone your alignment issues, but a HP30 for $100 including steering is a good deal, and an upgrade for you.
And depending on year it will be a straight swap.

I retract the statement that a new axle may not help, it would if yours is bent. My questions... was it off camber before lift? Before new ball joints? If it is off camber after new joints, old coulda been worn enough to make it straight. Do you know if your jeep was in any accidents?
