High idle switch for a 94?

I'm about to put a winch and winch bumper on my 94, and I would like to add the high idle switch for when I have to use it. Most of the info I've found is for 97+ but I did find this one about grounding pin 10 on the 60 pin connector on the computer. Has anyone else tried this. I've also seen the ones where you tie into the throttle cable and add the lever on the shifter, but I'd rather keep it simple, just throwing a switch.

Here is a picture of a '96 down one. So they had them. If you can find one I am guessing there is a way to hook it up like I can do in my '00.

From my research theres been mixed results with this mod on pre 97 XJ. On my 00 and 97 it was easy just ground the wire for pin12. I tapped the grey wite gojng to pin 12 and ran it to a simple switched ground in the cab

From what I've found on pre 97, it seems to be hit and miss. Some say you need the police package specific ECU to get the feature some have said they tapped pin 10 on non police XJs and got nothing others have said they tapped pin 10 and it worked.

It's on my list of things to do with my 95.

My ecu harness doesn't have a wire for pin 10. But I wonder if the ecu itself has a pin, and if I could just drill out the blank spot on the harness and make my own connection on it.
