These rigid lights were a waste... not nearly as bright as I think they should be for the money... should have got the china version everyone's selling now...

Yours arent even a projector or retrofit... there is NO comparison. If you are judging HID by your HID in h4 halogen housing junk kit, you are missing out.

I am tossed up whether I should order some parts to do my own retrofit I would like the instant gratification , The ability to pick the shrouds I want is a plus. But at the same time I do not want the hassle of doing the work. So I have been leaning towards going with FST. And I wouldnt have to buy a Dremel tool either

I am not sure where he gets his housings from IF I do it myself I'll probably go with a all plastic housing since they are easier to get apart, But I will go with the morimoto mini 6.0's which are $270

I've also not seen any pictures of the light output of the Trucklites... but I figure with how popular they are it can't be bad.

If I were going to spend close to $300 on headlights, I would probably look into those $300 Trucklites. But, I really like the cut-off of these projectors. Just a thought. I've also not seen any pictures of the light output of the Trucklites... but I figure with how popular they are it can't be bad.
