Default HID issue

so i bought HID's for my 2000 xj, they light up, but dont like being off, when i turn them off, i start to hear a clicking noise and it sounds like it is coming from the headlight switch, anyone had a similar issue? anyone know a solution?

Same problem with my 2000 and my HIDs. My HID only work on low beam so when I turn my jeep off I hit the high beam switch which cuts that circuit. But there is also a relay under the knee guard by the steering wheel that you can unplug but I haven't found it yet on mine

that makes no sense..but it worked haha. I don't get why it does that, thank you tho! one other thing, one of my HIDs is kinda weird, I turn on my headlights and it will flicker for about 5 seconds then go out
