And trust me, you don't want 10,000k... The light output would not be much more usable than stock lights. The point of hid is to be more functional not a sorry light show. I have 6000k and it's too blue for my tastes and i feel that it would be more useful to be 4300k. The lights, even 4300k, are intense blue at the cutoff so that gives the effect of blue to purple light from the opposing drivers perspective as they pass through the cutoff when approaching.

Just remember in most states its illegal to add hids to anything that didn't have them factory.Honestly unless you live middle of no where a good h4 with the relays is more then enough light. And if you needed more you can always add off road lights which are legal in all states,Some states say you have to but covers on so many over a set number like 2.Which every way you go stay far away from the cheapo ebay hid kits they are junk ill burn out fast and blind other drivers.

Yes, please do a proper retrofit using a projector or dont bother with HID.

I have 6000K and appreciate the slight blue tinge and great light output. Anything higher and its a trick. To look at a 8k or 10k you would say wow, that's bright compared to stock, but here the illusion. Look at the light ahead of the car/truck, that's on the ground. It's not there.

Yep it is. Your not going to get a true projector kit for that price.

For your budget, you are going to be better off buying an upgraded harness and calling it a day instead of going the HID route.
