unless you wanna spend the money for 3'' you don't need to drop the t case. if you mud the rig boots are only going to hold dirt mud debris. jmho as a budget minded fella

Lift is fine, I guess. Although I would spend a little more and get a better riding kit and shocks.
To save some headache, time and money. I recommend a trackbar not made by RC or Rusty's. IRO double sheer trackbar/mount runs about 190$
You can run Jeep YJ brake lines in the front/straighten out your stock hardline and reinstall it lower. That is what I run currently and I have about 4" lift, mid arms and Bilstein 5100s. With the sway bar disco'd I have plenty of line left.
For slightly more than your current cost. You can pick up this kit that includes pretty much everything.
