Lift is fine, I guess. Although I would spend a little more and get a better riding kit and shocks.
To save some headache, time and money. I recommend a trackbar not made by RC or Rusty's. IRO double sheer trackbar/mount runs about 190$
You can run Jeep YJ brake lines in the front/straighten out your stock hardline and reinstall it lower. That is what I run currently and I have about 4" lift, mid arms and Bilstein 5100s. With the sway bar disco'd I have plenty of line left.

For slightly more than your current cost. You can pick up this kit that includes pretty much everything.

IF you do not want that much lift. Maybe go for this?

Do not forget you get a discount. Frank is a good guy and a vendor and can get you setup with what you need.

Yes on both counts.
Please note that all RE lift kits are on sale for a limited time. See my ad in the vendor Forum.

Yes on shocks, and if you go 3" you may not need SYE, but good to have if you can swing it.

You could also consider dirtbound offroad, they have many kits to choose from and have a LAYAWAY option.
