Help me find this leak
Ok so I have an 88 xj
D30 4.0 Renix ba10/5 231 d35
I have a MASSIVE leak that's just starting to get bigger and bigger
I had a lot if oil residue on my V/C so I replaced it with a fel-pro rubber gasket
Also did the Renix tip and cut a bike tire tub up and made another gasket for the oil cap
I was planning in doing the Renix mod for the valve cover bt did not have the right tools to do the job so I couldn't
I also replaced the two rubber grommets on top of the V/C
So I still have a lot of oil in my air box and huge puddle under my heep
My oil pan always has been wet and has oil on it so I think it's a rear mail seal
Am I right?

I have the same problem. Its blow by. I put a oil catch can in line with my ccv hose. It prob wasn't bad before because the grommets were clogged up and when you put the new ones in it sent the oil vapors free flowing. Mine would dump oil in the air box and drain out of it though a hole in the bottom and then on the ground.

I believe in my build thread I have documentation of me installing it.
You will have to look through it though....
