HELP me find 3" adj track bar
Well maybe ppl say at only 3" of lift you can use the stock track bar. Then if you need to you can unbolt it and drill a new hole on on the axle mount.
I wanted to ask what track bar is the better one than the others? Ive heard the ones with stock style ball joint. tie rod end type suck.
I was wondering about the heim type and this type.... http://store.4wheelingplus.com/image...jeep-xj-zj.jpg
But everyones i find it says ONLY 4-6" bull like that. Can anyone help me find one or give some advice??

I have the JKS HD Adj one. It is for a 4 - 6 inch lift, but I only have a 3 inch lift right now. I have had no problem with it and am happy with it. It is a bit more money than some of the others, but really heavy duty!

JKS also makes one for 1-3.5" of lift. It isn't the double sheer type, but it should still be plenty strong for wheeling. I have one and as Easy says, it's a very beefy track arm.

I would advise getting an adjustable one that is a double sheer set up and avoid the tie rod end all together. Many companies make them. Mine is from rustys and it is solid.

Yeah i heard try to avoid the tie rod end. I just need to find one for 3" of lift i guess. Easy says he used the JKS for 4-5 inches but he only has 3" lift. I was thinking that one but have heard stories of them not fitting properly and binding against stuff.

Here is the only option I know of for 3" of lift..Rusty's, Rough Country and IronMan Andy all state theirs for 4"+ lifts. Double shear is definitely the way to go.

I think a question that needs to be asked is: what size tires are you/do you plan on running? The reason you probably can not find a double sheer type track bar for 3" or less is because with 3" of lift you probably are only going to run a 31" or maybe a 32" tire. With this size tire a double sheer set up is overkill. I'll repeat my first post, JKS makes an adjustable trackbar for 1-3.5" lift and it is plenty beefy for running up to a 31" tire. And all you have to do is drill out the original mounting hole, bolt it up, and go get an alignment.

I agree if all you ever plan is a 3" and top end 31's sure but who ever really stops at 3" and 31'w? Ironrocks will go from 1-5" so it gives him growing room. I know double shear is overkill but IMHO it is by far better than the stock bracket setup. I don't view it as over kill I view it as planning for the future and looking at the big picture not the here and now. Far to many have no forsight in the builds they do.
