Default HELP! eating U-joints

I have a dana 60 rear and a 6.5in lift on my xj. i just replaced the rear driveshaft u-joint about 3 months ago and i replaced the rear pinion seal at the same time. i know i installed everything tight and correctly and nohing has come looke because i used loc-tite. but now, the two shafts of the u joint that connect to the differential side yoke. (as opposed to the ones that connect to the driveshaft) are completely shot. im not sure its even been 1000 miles. the guy before me said he replaced the u joint before he gave it to me and i ended up having to replace it because it was shot. im convinced something is wrong and i am eating up U joints. what could be wrong? (also my pinion seal is leaking again. maybe i put the wrong seal in? not sure... im thinking maybe the driveshaft or pinion yoke is messed up. or the pinion itself? or maybe angles are off? if you have a suggestion, please let me know and accompany it with a write up or explain to me how i could fix it. thanks in advance!

You sure you have the shaft and slip yoke phased correctly?

please elaborate. i dont know what you mean about that. my understanding is that the slip yoke is the yoke that goes into the transfer case, and which shaft? i dont know what you mean by phased.

The part with the boot on it is a slip joint, it must be phased with the main driveshaft correctly, meaning the ujoint ears should be lined up at both ends of the shaft.

Im with others who say it seems your pinion angle is higher than the DS angle. though i realize this is only an image but just want to know have you checked your angles with an angle finder? could be the reason your going through u joints so fast.

i definately dont think my drive line is too short. the driveshaft is pretty lengthened out.

last time i had the driveshaft in 2 pices, it could only go togther in one way because the splines only matched up one way. im sorry if im still not talking about the right thing. please try to explain as much as possible im a little slow

could you please explain how to adjust the angles, and how to measure the angles. maybe a link to a write up? and it doesnt seem too muchh off to me. i cant imagine that little bit would make me go through a u joint in just hundreds of miles. but then again, it wont be the first time ive been wrong!!

Looks like your drive shaft yoke is making contact with your axle yoke, looks like a chunk in missing in the pic. My guess would be axle wrap, under torque the springs will bend up sometimes in the shape of an S and the pinion goes up. Pretty much any leaf sprung vehicle can have issues with this. Most set the pinion angle down a bit to combat this and the drag racers use traction bars which would kill your articulation.
