headlight conversion question

Default headlight conversion question

i have these http://motionoffroad.com/catalog/ind...roducts_id=165

can i put strobe lights in them drill a one inch hole into these housings and put a 60 watt strobe. in each headlight

I don't see why not since it is not a sealed lamp. Make sure that you waterproof the hole after you mount your strobe light to prevent condensation from entering.

You should be able to, you just want to make sure that you dont touch the headlight bulb. I would use a stair step drill bit and remove the headlight bulb before drilling. I know you probably would have done that anyway. Can I ask what made you want to install strobes and what color? I chose to install mine into the turn signal, but now I'm starting to go to exterior mount LED's because they draw less power and are still very bright
