Default Header Suggestions

I'm in the process of build up a new motor for the Jeep and need to pick a good header to run with all the work I'm doing. I'm planning to port and polish the head and intake. I'm doing a 5 angle grind valve job and decking the head to raise my CR. It's gonna get a mild cam, new injectors, bored throttle body. I'm leaving the bottom end along and slapping some nice Keith Black pistons in it.

So any suggestions on a good resonably priced header to run would be great.

Thanks Jared.

A reasonably priced header would be the APN header. Google search "Jeep Cherokee APN header" and it will be the first result (from ineedparts.com). $180 shipped to your door. If you search around, you'll see nothing but positive reviews

Wait, are you serious about Pacesetter? I've heard NOTHING but bad things about them... Like how they come coated in black and how that paint melts away within no time of installing it, etc.

So good call on ordering the APN. I have mine sitting on the floor of my room, just waiting to be installed.

Whats keeping you from putting it on?! Besides the pita bottom bolts haha. My Jeep ran like a new machine after I rid myself of the old cracked header.

Sorry to thread jack... but mine's cracked too. Is it worth getting a new one versus welding up the crack?

Yes get a new one. The old one will just crack again or find another weak spot and crack.
