Ok so i have to know i have a 90 4.0 what is the difference between the headers for it and a 91 and up i thought all 4liters were the same

All i know is the intake systems (throttle body/injectors etc) are different. Dont know about the headers

Engine: I-6 4.0 HO

Yes, the headers on a Renix Era 4.0 and HO 4.0 are different. The Renix header has a different design as well as a port for the EGR system, and as well the intake and exhaust ports on the Renix head are in different positions compared to the HO. IIRC, the Renix ports are 1/8" off from where HO ports are.

Ok thanks was wondering was going to get a 91+ but guess that wont work thanks

Don't quote me on this, but I think you can put a HO head on a Renix 4.0 if you wanted.

True i didn think of that the blocks are the same well you would have to change both the intake and exhaust. I know it can be done but the intake is some thing would have to look into ive seen a write up on here will have to check it out
