HD Steering options?....ASAP
I just recently got a 2000 xj and it has the rusty's steering on there. Im looking to get rid of it and put something different on. What are all the options out there? I did some searching and seems that IRO and Serious Offroad seem to be the Brand of choice on this site. I have the Currie on my 6" LA TJ and just thought that I might go a different route rather than spending close to 500.
The xj has about 8" of lift and 35s. Looking to buy VERY soon! Thanks! |
What current rustys kit do you have? Depending on what had to be done to the knuckles to install the setup, it might limit your options.

It looks like their inverted T setup. They call it a "tie rod conversion kit" for whatever reason.
We sell a nice crossover OTK steering setup you might be interested in. Is that a Rusty's track bar too? Going over the axle with the track bar too will definitely improve your steering. Looking to buy VERY soon! Thanks! Keep in mind that you'll need to add an OTA Trackbar bracket to your axle and shorten the trackbar. I've got the Teraflex sway bar mounts on the site too. Looking forward finally getting mine installed..... |

I live in PA. Near Harrrisburg. And several of my good friends have inspection stations. According to them there is NO REQUIREMENTS in the PA. state inspection code for steering. So ,,, yes,,, you can use those stacked heims. PM me for more if ya want. :yes: |
