Default Hard knock after oil change

Alright guys so I just changed my oil on Saturday. Afterwards I went to drive and there is a loud knocking sound coming from the bottom of the motor. I don't think its the flex plate and I know what the lifters sound like. I'm afraid that its a rod or something. Any ideas?

I dont want to start an argument but Im not a fan of pennzoil. I have had problems running that in a couple of different rigs.

What does your oil pressure read?

I doubt that using a low quality oil would do this immediately following an oil change. I guess if you assume the OP has used the same brand and type of oil for the life of the vehicle, then you have an argument...

I've had the vehicle for little over a year and i've used pennzoil in it and my mom's camry and haven't had any problems. Oil pressure is right between 20 and 40 at idle and little above 40 driving. I have a Fram PH16 oil filter. again haven't had any problems with Fram everyone in my family have used that brand with no issues

I imagine you have better things to do with your life than spending the next six hours writing down half the reasons why Fram shouldn't be used

This, I doubt any of this is due to what "oil" and what "oil filter" was used.

OP Have you used a synthetic oil/blend before this?

If it were me I would try a different filter I have had good luck with Fram and wix but doesn't mean I haven't gotten a bad one or issues like this. I would say change filter just to rule it out. Would hate to tear I to the lower end and find out it was the filter or something simple.

Uh, don't bet on it. Very highly doubt it's the oil, but the oil filter could be the cause.
