Default Hack-n-Tap SYE?

So ive been looking at the hack n tap SYE from Iron rock offroad and dirtbound offroad, my question is do I need the seal flange? I have a 92 xj with the np242 tc. Im pretty sure i need it but i wanted to make sure before spending the money.

Thanks in advance guys

Yes. I have the exact same setup and I just did mine last week. I got the one from Dirtbound and they supplied everything you need except loctite and sealer, plus great instructions.

yes you will need it. also i have the 242 transfer case. if you order it, order it with a uncut full lenght yoke. the one they send you is for a 231 swap. you will need the yoke to be longer on the 242 swap. its the only slip yoke kit for the 242 also. for some reason they dont make other kits

Yep, Just like everyone else said. 96 and later is when the tail housing changed. pre 96s have to have the seal flange.
