Default h4 set up

Hey guys i just ordered and recived an h4 headlight set for my 94 xj! My question is with the h4 plugs what do i splice into the old headlight switch? Is it the same color code or diffrent? Also they have a blue bulb in them with two wires one black which looks like for a ground and the other for what i assume is power? My last question is what is the blue bulb for anyway?

did you get a wiring harness with the headlights... it should be plug and play...
As for black headlights... I hope you do not plan on seeing anything at night....

I have a plug that plugs into the headlight/ bulbs but the end of the plugs are just stripped wires so i assume i have to cut my old wire harnness and connect them to the new h4 plugs
