Great. bolt is now stripped.
im trying to do a TC drop and i was told to get this stud out i can just take a pipe wrench or vice grips. which i tried. and they end up just stripping the thread off. i have long bolts to put in but i need to remove this damn stud first. how can i remove this stud?
Thanks

If those are threaded in (I can't remember if those studs are threaded in or pressed in), then jam nut it and back it out, or throw a nut on the stud and weld it on there and then grab on to the bolt and back it out. If it were me though, I would just jam nut it if I could. If all else fails, then cut it off as close to the cross member as you can and drill it out.

use some heat and some super penetrating fluid. then either vise grips, or probably better, the pipe wrench.
on the other one, use a couple of nuts to lock against each other, and turn it out with a wrench.
