Hey everyone. I used to get about 13-15mpg with old tires. Got new tires and now I only have 55 miles and I'm between half a tank and 3/4 of a tank. What's happening? Inhavent changed my driving style since getting new tires. Should I reset something?

x2, or more aggressive tire or even a softer compound rubber in the tire could cause this.

The tires are the same brand/model and size. Except since they are new, there's an 1" more of tread

That isn't going to cause that... Did you go into the shop with a full tank? Did the shop accidentally reset the tripometer? If your not sure I would say top off that tank, reset the trip and see if it does it again.

BTW... not saying it is definite but suggesting the possibility of fuel theft....

Locking gas cap, you can hide the key inside the vehicle or keep it in your wallet...

Right!? I was at school and had to catch a ride and he got ll this done. And it's just weird. I hope not. I live in south florida so the population of my county is a whole lot (think like 3 million). I may go and get one today.

Best 8 bucks I spent. Not only does it deter fuel theft but if God forbid the car got stolen they can't refuel
