Good 30" tires for 15x8's?

Are there any good 30" tires that will fit 15x8?

These are a little bigger than you said you wanted, but....
I ran these off road on stock rims (15x7 I think) for almost two years with no problems. Those were replaced by 33x10.5x15 KM2s which I ran on the same stock rims for a year or so before replacing them with 35x12.5x15 on steal aftermarket rims (15x8).

He only has room for a 30" tire.

Yes, I miss understood the question at first. Now I know that it is a tire fitment with an aftermarket wide rim issue. But, if your willing to up 1 inch in size Mason_xj, your options grow. An inch here an inch there, no big deal.

Only have a 2 inch lift. I can't find a straight answer if 31s work on only a 2 inch lift or not. I've come to the conclusion that they will fit with some minor trimming and adjustments. Think I should go 31s or play it safe with 30s?

30's on 2" will look a little small, IMO. you can fit 31' with either proper bump-stops (my advice) or minor trimming (easy, but it can look pretty bad if not done properly). You'll also want to adjust your steering stops. Super easy and you'll barely notice a difference in turning radius. Here's a link for the steer stop adjustment:

Mind you guys this isn't on an xj. It's a grand. 31s fit but will rub.

I had General Grabber AT/2's but they did poorly in the snow, they just dug and dug and never grabbed (lol). I have Cooper Destination A/T3 now and I love them. They are quiet, great in the rain and snow, great tread ware and the couple times I've been off the beaten path they've done well in the mud and slippery rocks and trails. If you're offroad mostly I'd look for something different, but if you're on road most of the time I can't rave enough about the Coopers (especially for the price).

Oh. I thought you originally said it was a grand

Here is a straight answer for you, yes 31s will work with a 2 inch lift. Here is a picture of my cherokee when I bought it a few years ago. It had the upcountry package from the factory, so a one inch lift from the factory. The tires that were on it when I bought it were 30 inch BFGs. Great tires for snow and ice by the way.

31s fit fine with no lift.

WJ LCAs solve any rubbing issue.
