I upgraded to long arms from a 4.5" lift also. I did not change shocks or steering or anything else. My shocks actually do limit my flex slightly. Im going to change out the shocks as soon as the funds allow. What do you have and what are you going to?

It was not bad to install. I had my 4.5 lift when I did my install too. Its pretty straightfoward. Just gotta cut off the old brackets and weld on the new crossmember. Easy beans
