G2 Axle Upgrade

I currently have a 95' Cherokee with 5-1/2 Rubicon long arm lift and am considering upgrading to G2 axles with ARB air lockers I am not sure if this is really a smart thing to do due to the size of these axles. I have been looking around and do not see anyone that has done this upgrade. I do most of the harder trails here in Colorado and in Moab. Any thoughts on this upgrade would be greatly appreciated. Maybe I am nuts for considering upgrading.

What size tires?

currently run 33's 4.56 gears have Powertrax that is in need of new springs and other things to make it work again was thinking of up grading rather than sinking money into the 35

For 35s I would keep the Dana 30 front and do the full circle clip upgrade on the U-joints, then throw some better axle shafts in if you start breaking them. For the rear a 29 spline Chrysler 8.25 is an easy swap that will handle 35s.

ive youve got the disposable cash to spend on G2's, then go for it, otherwise spend less money to add re-inforcement parts to your D30 and swap in a Chry 8.25.
