Default Fuel Injector Swap Question

I have a 1998 XJ with the 4.0 and I think its time for new fuel injectors. What year neon injectors do I need, How many, and what do I have to do to install them and get them to run right. One of my friends said somthing about a set of 6 different neon injectors not being flowmatched would cause an issue.

You would need the 0280155703 injectors which are called "Neon" but came in a wide range of Dodge/Chrysler vehicles in the mid-90's. I wouldn't worry to much about the injectors not being "flow matched" since they should at least be close being the same factory injector # and your computer will make some adjustment. If you were running 2 different types of injectors I'd be more worried. If you find some just clean them as best you can to get them all working about the same. Swapping them out is real easy and any home mechanic can do it with just a few common tools

So I should just go to my local JY check what mid 90's dodges and chryslers they have with the 703 injectors? And whats the best way to make sure the six that i get are cleaned good and working properly?

I have a set of ford 19s in my 88 and although I have yet to drive normally and a full tank to see the mpg gain I have noticed a smoother idle and up hill power. Some times people sell injectors on here, that's where I got mine from

replacements cost about $70 ; an "o" ring kit about $10 - you'll need to replace them. I just cleaned my injectors, tested and reinstalled them and my Jeep runs GREAT!
