Default Front recovery points

Hey guys i was wondering what some of you use for recovery points in the front of yur XJ (add pics if you want) im not tryna get a whole new front bumper, just a weld/bolt on recovery point to the uni-body. Thanks for the help!!

You could get a front hitch, that was my plan until i decided i wanted a winch bumper instead

Front hitch mount costs $118 shipped on eBay. Curt #31084. Do a search for front hitch to see what it looks like, they also have an install video

I would go with a set of tow hooks (cheap and easy installation) for a start cause is the cheapest and when you decide to upgrade to an aftermaket bumper, you can always sell them and take a lesser lost.

lol i dont like tow hooks. Majority of people dont know or care enough to pull from BOTH hooks not just one.

JCR diy front bumper with tie-ins ftw. little more expensive, but better than hooks to me.

old front hitch off a ranger modified and i can easily use my winch cradle.

I went with Curt frt. hitch.Well built,cheap,easy to install.JCR bumper does look killer.

Made my own front hitch welded all made of 1/4 inch i welded 1/4 plate to the unibody then the hitch to the 1/4 plate that was welded to the unibody ignore the crappy welds i redid them

Ive pulled 2 XJ's out with them yanked hard and never broke
