Front locker
Im going to install my front lunch box locker tomorrow any suggestions before i do and how long should it take me? No bolts are seized all bolts have been taken off the axle 30 times in the past year so no worries theyre what type of gear oil should i run and i have a 3.55 ring gear can i do while its in the axle?

yes its easy. maybe 2 hours if you are slow. u can do it while in the axle. i used just some simple generic gear lube from wally world. i have some pics if you go to my build page in my signature

If you are doing a lunch box locker you dont need to touch the ring gear, but if you already have it is veeeeeeeeeeery important!!!!!

i had to pull my ring gear in the front only.
you're supposed to use new ring gear bolts, but the dealer wants nearly 10 bux a bolt.
so i just used grade 8 bolts and washers. worked fine for me.
most of my stock bolts all stripped trying to reuse them for some freakin reason.
