Just replaced sway bar links and bushing too. I'd love to change control arm bushings but mine are aftermarket and I'm not really sure what size to get.

I'll look into those synergy ball joints too. Sounds interesting. Who knows, the whole front end might end up being all moog parts by the time I'm done lol.

Should I expect some creaking or anything for the first hundred miles or so while everything is breaking in?
Maybe a little I have some in the first 5 miles but that was mostly because I had a few other projects going on the jeep so it sat for a few months.....as long as you grease everything ( use the red grease) it should be all good....the only noises you should worry about will be noticeable otherwise the grease just needs to work it's way into places but new parts are usually greased from the factory

Not to sound like a$$hole but where are you getting your parts from...when I priced out everything for the zj upgrade from Napa, it would have cost 300. So i just went for serious offroad's 1 ton kit for a few bucks more

Amazon or E-bay. Just over $100 for the tie-rod, adjuster sleeve, and rod end. The drag-link is not replaced.

so for $321.66 plus tax you can do the zj upgrade, replace the axle u-joints, the hub bearings and have that 36mm socket in your tool box forever.

Nice. I'm throwing in some ball joints too. Might as well get the moog ball joints to complete it all.

Here is a question though: if you buy these parts from a parts store, don't they usually have some sort of warranty? Does buying them through Amazon leave you with a major pain if you break something under warranty? i e having to wait on shipping instead of just running down the street.

i've never had an issue returning things to amazon. and these parts will only be under warranty by the manufacture for manufacture defects no matter where you buy.. i know just the hub bearings are $20 more each from autozone then from amazon. that $40 right there. now add in the rest of the savings.. hell you are saving $200 on the zj upgrade along by shopping amazon over napa. your choice man.

or you can buy duralast stuff that may have a life time warranty and have to replace it every year because its junk.

Yeah eff the duralast crap. I'm on Amazon now filling up my cart and simultaneously emptying my bank account. Couldn't be happier.

One more question. U joints?? Anyone have a part number for moog or any other greasable u joints for a Dana 30? I'd like a greasable if possible. I get into water pretty consistently off road.

Parts stores are cheap enough compared to OEM, I don't need to give my money to the demons @ amazon. ZJ kit only cost me $125 or so at a real store.

Demons... Right. Those parts stores are national chains as much as Amazon is. And considering Amazon employees thousands of people in loads of different regions, including mine, they could be considered better for local economies. I buy either legitimate locally made products or I buy from the Internet, including sites that support our forum. Parts stores serve a good purpose but shouldn't be thought of as somehow morally superior to Amazon. Just my .02

Crown Automotive HDSTRGCR1 Heavy Duty Steering Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008VPUOSO..._6atuwbJD97N15

Anyone use this crown kit? I need a drag link and the pitman arm TRE as well. This kit has all those parts for a little cheaper than moog stuff. Am I making this more complicated than necessary? Hahaha. Wish I could find a part number for a moog xj drag link and TRE
