Default front drive shaft substitute?

First i want to thank everyone for all of the help with my build and hopefully this will b the last question for a little while anyway. ok im going to run the hack-n-tap sye from IRO and for the drive shaft im going to use a front dana 30 shaft. i have found one for 20 bucks from a gentleman here in town anf hopefully will be yanking it out in the next couple days my question is my jeep is a 1998 and the donor jeep is an 89 will this matter with the shaft swap/substitution or will it work just fine? i looked at the donor it has the high pinion d30 just like my 98 . Jyst want to know if it will work for my sye drive shaft. my little jeeps gonna get wheeled so the less problems the better

I apologize I reread my post and the thread title and realized I worded it horribly I mean to use the front drive shaft as a rear drive shaft after I put the slip yoke eliminator in to save on buying a new rear shaft online.

Here then you want a shaft that fits with close even play to go in and out for suspension travel......
