hi, i feel like this is answered somewhere but i couldnt find it. i have heard of people using ZJ springs and f150 springs i was wondering if there were any other coils that i can use on my XJ for a lift. and how much lift do ZJ springs give? thank you.

The zj coils feel like stock for the most part and th f150 coils are stiff but not objectionably so. Its more like a quick return to center. I ran f150 coils on 2 of my xjs and never found them to be annoyingly harsh.

The f150 coils are not a perfect fit. You have to cut part of the top of the spring off and the coil will rub the c's on your axle but other than that if you are on a tight budget get them if not get 3" coils. They give about 2.5" in my experience.

howie-14, so at that expense prolly best to stay under 3in? and if i were to go high i shud get a kit from rusty's or rough country. that kind of thing?
