Default Front bumper football relocation

Alright well i've read the threads that i can seach and find on relocating the footballs (HVAC system? vacuum condenser thing?) but i would like a little more detail in the form of basically how you did it and pictures

I put mine in the engine bay right over the oil filter. It's holding on with tie-wraps and has been there for almost a year now. You still have access to the oil filter and it doesn't get hot enough to do any damages.

You could put it right behind the air filter box, but you'll need to extend the rubber hose.

thank you, after i looked at your picture i looked in the engine bay and noticed that big hole where you put yours haha...its now zip tied flush with the engine coolant resivoir and looks very nice haha

What is the purpose of the football anyway? I know its some sort of vaccum but what is its actual function?

I relocated it behind the front crossmember on my 92. you know right behind the front bumper. I put it on the inside of that.

i've never got a straight answer out of this, but a compiled list would be: HVAC pump, front axle disconnect, cruise control, A/C only, and absolutely nothing...all it is is a ball with a vacuum (its really just some air inside of it, which comes out when you unplug it)

no clue what it is or what it does but when i was on a trail i some how cracked it and just pulled it off and plugged the vac line. havent noticed any changes. i dont have ac so im not sure if it changes that..?
