Frankensteining a Lift together.. need some ?'s answered about front coils

So I have been digging and digging and digging different and CHEAP options for a round about 3" lift and to be done better than blocks and spacers only.

Ive seen info about ZJ coils and Upcountry ZJ coils.. somewhere a part number was CC782 and I am wondering if anyone out there knows if thats for the regular coils or the upcountry.

Also I saw about these CC784 Carquest coils. Are the moog CC784 the same thing? I noticed it said the CC784 only fit like 2 years of cherokee.. while the cc782 said it would fit several including the 2 the 784s would fit.

Im going for 3" or so, maybe a bit more in the back since Im having subs back there.

my plan for the main part of the lift was finding coils that would get me about 2" and adding a spacer to get up to 3".

then adding 2 leaves from a stock XJ leaf pack to get about 2-2.25 and using a Comanche shackly to kick me up to hopefully a little over 3. Im not sure how good of a layout this will be, but im liking the ease I feel it is going to be.

Any input or suggestions is appreciated.

There's all sorts of ways you can get 3" for cheap by going to the JY. Just my .02 I'd say look at Rough Country and drop the 250 for their 3". It did me well and there's a lifetime warranty. That's the add a leaf package and if the backs not quite as high as you like you can get shackles pretty cheap off ebay.

honestly you can do it pretty cheap...

I have a walk through for 3.5-4" at the junk yard...

but the main issue is control arms... I personally would get a rough country kit that comes with AT LEAST lower control arms, and maybe add and extra XJ main leaf or shackles

I got rusty's 3" coils for $100 and i love them. Bastard pack for about $50 and JK shocks for free. You wont stay with a cheap lift for long, trackbar, LCA, Shackles, Tie rod, etc. Once you get into to it you will get addicted.

if you are gonna add two leafs from another xj pack, it should put you right at 3" depending on the condition of the leafs. the rear will also be noticeably stiffer. It's what I did, along with t-bird front coils.
