Fox 2.0 shocks, rear axke mount
I am trying to install Fox 2.0 shocks on the rear of my xj. The shaft coming off the lower mount is too big to fit inside the steel bushing in the shock. Are you supposed to press out the steel bushing that comes in the new shock? How do you go about mounting them?

For my dad's Cherokee we pressed out the metal bushing in the rubber shaft ends and then mounted as normal

Ok guys, thanks for the info. I wasn't sure what to do and didn't want to take a chance on tearing up my new shocks. This was exactly the type of answer I was wanting.
