Ford HP D44 swap help
I'm building a custom HP D44 for my XJ and will be using the Chevy 9.94" outer axle stubs and using the Ford hub and rotor assembly so I can use 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern.
Does anyone know the Spicer part number for these Chevy 9.94" axle stubs?
I came across Spicer P/N 41677 when I googled "chevy 9.94 inch axle stubs" but Im getting different measurements from different links I go to.
Check this site out
http://www.northerndrivetrain.com/pr...SPI-41677.html
It says the length is 9.92"
Are these the same as the 9.94" axles?

I am using Ford hubs and rotors from an '80 F150 so I can have the 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern on my XJ. But I Have to use Chevy 9.94" stubs, Chevy spindles, Chevy knuckles, and Chevy brake calipers, all from a '76 era Chevy front Dana 44.
That's how it's done and it works if you don't wanna use 6 bolt lug nuts. JP magazine did an axle build up this way.
I'm just trying to get the correct Spicer part number for the Chevy 9.94" stubs cause I'm not paying 150 bucks a pop for upgraded axle stubs.

I know there is some crossover on hubs between Chevy and Ford (a lot of late 80s Chevy stuff is the same as FSJ) but I'm not sure if what you're saying will work.
