Ford 8.8 Eaton Elocker install
 

Got a Ford 8.8 out the junk yard from a 97 Explorer and Flange adapter will be swapping it into my xj . Doing 4.88 G2 gears with Eaton Elocker, Iro Swap kit with steel braided brake lines. My question is can I run the wires for the Elocker through the speed sensor hole? 1) wont be using sensor 2) the Eaton elocker the wires are on the ring side of carrier same as sensor.3) tone ring wont be installed on new carrier. I was figuring that I could thread the sensor hole, put a pipe plug in and drill required hole through it to route wires. haven't had luck googling to see if this has been done yet. advise and help on this with pics would be greatly appreciated
