Default floor pan repair

I have a about a 4 or 5 inch in diameter round plug on my floor pan that is rusting out. Can i just buy a replacement plug or do i need to cut the whole thing out and put a piece of sheet metal in. I have search for replacement plugs and haven't found anything.

thanks

I took all the plugs out and welded a few plates over the holes. Hope this helps.

Default A little floor venting.

If you water cross, you might want some floor venting to drain out the footwells. Took me a while to find a big enough plug for this little problem.
If you weld in a patch, clean up the factory sealant really well, grind it off completely, it will burn and mess up your weld, watch for fires on the opposite side! Have a hose or an extinguisher handy. Have a friend watch.
If you bond it on with screws and sealant, a latex is paintable.

Gotta love the effects on Ontario winter's on our cars! My XJ isn't near that bad, but it's starting to get there in the front..

This makes me feel better about the rust I have...he'll need more than a couple street signs to repair that rust!
