Default Flip up wippers

Does anyone have a simple solution to flipping up the front wipers? I have a 99 cherokee sport and I hate the fact that the wipers won't flip up. I'm willing to swap them out if anyone knows what fits?

You can just take a dremel and cut the 1/4 inch of metal that stops it from going back

Just out of curiosity, why do you want your wipers to flip out?

I know it's such a little thing but it drives me crazy! I live in Alaska and I like to be able to flip up my wipers for when it snows it also makes it easier to clean my windshield, which I do every time I fill my tank.

That is really a damn good reason. Probably the best reason for a odd question I have ever heard.

What year is you jeep? I would think on the older style wipers you could just pull the metal tab that holds the wiper arm on the shaft and it'll get it off the windshield

They're all like that (AFAIK) but the blade still flops onto the windshield and it's hard to get those stupid little tabs out when you're wearing gloves.
