Flexy Flares?
Anybody use these? If so, which type did you use, lip mount or no lip mount?I'm ready to cut fenders and don't want to shell out $400 for flares. Saw these and thought they might be a nice budget option.

I think you'd have to use the no lip mount option where they screw into the side of the fender...due to the lack of a lip on the front fenders...

Good find man....I have cut fenders but Im like you, I really dont want to shell out $400 bucks for flares. Plus, I want something cheap so if I hit a tree or rock or something like that on a trail, I wont be pissed when they break! Take pics of your install and everything.

I bet a local fab shop could do some easy tube fenders for cheaper than 400. Looks way good imo. That's the route I'm going. Won't ever break or scratch up.

Question for ya'll: Has anybody done tube fenders by bending a pipe to fit your fender, cut a slit in it and welded it to the fender? Ive thought about doing this for a while now but I was wondering if anyone has ever done that yet?

There is a rig out there that has tied in the body to the cage. I will try to find the thread. The guy started with a four door XJ. Made a 2door truck truggy then from there an incredulity crawler. I'm sure others have seen the thread as well. He did a detailed thread with all his tube work.
