Default First post: Looking to add 2-3 inches of lift

Hi - I have a 2001 Cherokee 2WD (i know, i know). I love it, its my second Cherokee (1998 4WD). Anyways. I'm not looking to off-road, but I'm looking to lift my jeep a couple inches to make room for 16" MOAB rims and 30" tires.

So what I'm looking for advice on is whether I should go the Budget Boost route, or go for a $300 RC or Rusty's Add-A-Leaf kit. Just looking for opinions. I don't mind spending the $300 or so, but will I get anything out of it besides a few inches? Would it be worth it?

For what you plan to do...

2" poly spacer for the front and a 2" shackle in the rear.

Done.

And maybe get new shocks down the road? If I were to get aftermarket shocks later on, would it matter than I'm up 2" now?

Cheap ebay poly spacers and a shackle that has a cross section and is made for a Cherokee. The universal crap won't do.

Yours shocks will most likely be fine.

You can cut the front spacer down some if you need to.

Awesome, thank you so much!

I wonder why they don't match up the sizes of the shackles and spacers... would it look stupid if I kept 3" in the front and 2" in the back? Or would you not even notice?
