Default Firing order

Am currently building a 4.6 stroker and one thing I haven't seen on here is firing order. Do the 4.0 and 4.2 engines have the same firing order?

Not sure about the 4.2 but I know I have seen the firing order stamped on an intake manifold.

Welcome. Im getting ready to put a 4.3 Chevy HEI in mine. You can buy one for 100 bucks from 4WD Hardware just gotta trace and tap wires accordingly from one module to another.

Yes, when building a stroker and choosing a cam, pay attention to the duration. You want a little more duration to compensate for the larger bore.
