Default a few ?'s

i have tried searching but i think there is something wrong with my setting on my pc. i know there are threads that i am looking for but i cant find them. i have some questions though.
oil pressure- i am running around 45 psi at 1800 rpm but when i come to a stop light drops pretty low. maybe 5-10. is this normal?? 98 cherokee with 4.0 183k miles

next question is for you oba guys. i am building a co2 set up right now but found a really good deal on a sinco 1 gallon air comp that i think i could build a sweet mounting bracket in the back. would i be better to just continue with my co2 build or go with the compressor. i know i would have to get and inverter and wire it in. just looking for what ideas and thoughts people have on both systems.
i will not be airing up/down much . mostly would just be for emergency/ tire changes etc.

Oil pressure should run around 13 at idle. Your specs sound fairly normal. Just don't go putting thicker oil in there. That will not do anything but make your oil pressure gauge move. It's not good for your engine.

What is the CFM on the compressor? That would be the most important information for an on board air setup. To use it as an on board setup you need to have enough volume to run air tools and air up tires on the trail, or after the trail. If it only puts out a couple of CFM with no load and only has a one gallon tank airing up or using air tools would be almost impossible.

i think the cfm on the sticker was .96cfm i dont know much about them so i do not know if this is normal??? after pricing the inverter and what all needed to hook up i may just continue with my co2 system.

i run like 25 psi at high way and 5-0 at idel and crawling in the rocks my motor runs fine no blow by or leaks but my low oil psi is the only thing holding me back from turboing it
