Fender flare suggestions
Recently I bought a 1998 cherokee. The front fenders were cut by the previous owner. I do not like the look of the cut fenders and am hoping to find a solution that makes them look either more stock or at least complete. I originally was looking at the Bushwcker flat fenders, but those require the original mounting holes be intact and mine are not. Anyone mount the bushwackers higher up than they suggest? Or any other fender options?
Here is a pic of the cut front fenders. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...4b866efb7c.jpg |
Napier works with minor trimming like that. Look them up.

Oh those look great. Thanks for the suggestion!

At least they did a good trim job. Seen some absolutely horrible triming in my time. Anyhow you could always make your own there are plenty of post about them and if done right they dont look to shabby

This might not be to your liking but look at DPG off road. https://dpgoffroad.com/videos/ He talks about cutting fenders and has a trim moulding that really cleans up the cut edge. It really changes the look with a little moulding on the cut edge.

Notch flares look good BUT on the rears you need to cut away the outer sheet metal then bend the inner sheetmetal out and then weld the two together. Quite a bit of work. They are also made to order. 5 week lead time. https://notchcustoms.com/pages/x-max...e-instructions They do look good if done right.

I went with Rusty's armored fenders. they aren't cheap, but they are sturdy af.
