Default Fender flare removal

I took one of mine off and really like the look. I'm not worried about it rusting here in Colorado.

I don't know what to do with the bit of the splash guard sticking out, is it best to just tear it out or put small fasteners all the way around and cut the part that sticks out?

If you are talking about the rubber fender liner, just grab it and rip the whole thing out. You don't need it, especially in CO, and all it does is hold moisture and dirt anyway. if you pull hard enough, it will come out.

once you get all that plastic junk out, take a saw to your fenders and you'll really start to like the look, don't forget to hammer the pinch seams

I want to remove my flares, paint them, then put them back on. How did you take off your flares and would it be pretty simple to put them back on?

unscrew them from the bottom..iirc. then just gently lift up.take the brakets off is where it gets frustrating. mainly because all the bolts always break.

I don't wanna deal with broken bolts. I'll just paint em while they're on haha
